I have a serious fascination with gangsters and the mafia and outlaws and such. Like Bonnie and Clyde, Al Capone, John Dillinger, yes? Of course they're the famous ones and i know next to nothing about them but I'm determined to read up on them this summer, do a little research. :9
I also have a fascination with the cars from that era. They're just SO coool looking. I love it.
And I love zoot suits, though they don't exactly fit together...
And i want to have a story involved with that sorta theme, i'll definitely try to work it in with Mizuko and stuff. Someday i might have to just change up their story line entirely to satisfy my fascination with gangsters or just create a new set of characters and stories. Or perhaps i'll make a "omake" kinda thing with Mizuko where she is a 1920s-30s gangster leader... HEEE i think i'll do that regardless now that i think of it.
And i really wanna go watch that movie Public Enemies with Johnny Depp where he portrays Dillinger, maybe that should help with research purposes as well XD
and of course Lackadaisy always fuels this ongoing fascination with that era. If you know nothing of Lackadaisy well...I like it lots. Even if they're kitties and "furries", it amuses me so~ it's cute and funny, while also kinda morbid. rofl. [link]

I also intend on researching more about the origins and myths of vampires. For Yazuki-kun. :] And with Yazuki, i intend on having some logical explanation for every stupid vampire myth out there, maybe for comic effect? i dunno. XD

and i really want to read Robin Hood and Dracula and Frankenstein which ties into my desire to research the topics i just mentioned.

What else do i have to say? Hrm...i'm practicing as much as I can with realism, though the only thing i can draw realistically are eyes. I'm inspired to do colorful paitings of eyes because of some stuff i saw on DA. I would to have realistic renditions of my characters like Mizuko and Taira... yea.

So i guess this summer vacation has allowed my creative juices to start flowing again. but i'm still sorta suffering from writers and drawer's block a tad....HARUMPH, tis rather frustrating...

But yea...that's an update for those who actually care. ^^ which i feel is like one, two, MAYBE three people. rofl. I guess I'm used to it, nobody caring about what i have to say or do I mean. *SHRUG*
